Links & QR

Every touchpoint,a way into your hotel.

Take guests from a card, a table or reception to the right experience. Design links and QR codes around their purpose, with a clear destination and measurement you understand.

See the workflow

One card. A clear destination.

Choose a context and scan the real example QR code. It opens public Zillion information about that capability; it does not activate a service.

The example, step by step
  1. 01

The offering, one step from the table

The menu card opens the public Zillion Restaurant page. Guests should always know what a code will open.

Static example. Informational destination without measured redirection.
  2. 02

    The entry starts at reception

This card opens the public Zillion WiFi page. A WiFi portal and a QR code with WiFi credentials are two different uses.

This code contains no credentials and does not join a network.
  3. 03

An entry at the right moment

This card opens the public Zillion Reputation page to explain the context for a review request.

This example does not send or publish a review.

Explore at your own pace. The full explanation remains available without animation or JavaScript.

For your team

From a touchpoint to the next step.

A destination that helps the guest

Organize access to a menu, a WiFi portal or a review request around the moment in the stay.

Choose how each code works

A dynamic link redirects to a managed destination. A static QR code carries its content directly inside the code.

Measure what actually happens

Clicks on a redirecting link are a different signal from scans of a static QR code.

How it works

Design the access before printing.

Decide what the guest needs to open and how that access will be maintained.

  1. Choose the experience

Define a useful destination for the touchpoint and wording that explains what will open.

Menu, WiFi portal and review are use cases; each connection is configured separately.
  2. Choose static or dynamic

Use a managed link when you need redirection. A static QR code retains the content encoded when it was generated.

Changing static content requires generating another code.
  3. Check and distribute

Review the destination, contrast and scan quality before placing the QR code in the hotel.

Redirect measurement alone does not count every physical interaction.

Before you begin

Can I change a destination after printing?

With a managed dynamic link, the redirect can be updated while keeping the code. A static QR code contains the original destination or data and needs another code when that content changes.

Can every scan be measured?

No. Link measurement records redirect requests, which do not equal unique people. A static WiFi or contact QR code does not pass through that redirect.

What do the QR codes on this page open?

They are static example QR codes that open public Zillion product pages for Restaurant, WiFi or Reputation. They do not join a network, send reviews or register clicks on a dynamic link.

Your hotel, your context

Start with one guest touchpoint.

We will review what your guest needs to open, how to maintain that destination and which signal makes sense to measure.
